Safer Sleep Week is the national awareness campaign by The Lullaby Trust targeting anyone looking after a young baby.
They raise awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and the simple advice that reduces the risk of it occurring.
You can read more about the campaign here: Safer Sleep Week | The Lullaby Trust
Sadly, 188 babies died in the UK from Sudden Infant Death (SIDs the sudden unexplained death of an infant) 87% happening in the first six months of life.
We can all play a role in raising the awareness of Safe Sleep advice and take opportunities to share important messages to support families in making informed decision for their children.
