Child Death Overview Panel [CDOP]

We have a Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) to see whether we can learn lessons from children’s deaths in order to improve the health, safety and well-being of other children and prevent further child deaths.

The Royal Borough is part of the Pan Berkshire Child Death Overview Panel.  This allows for sharing of good practice and development of safeguarding opportunities towards improving outcomes for all children and young people across the Berkshire area and takes into account learning from similar work across the country.
